Ripple Boosts Fairshake PAC Campaign Funds to $103 Million Ahead of 2026 Elections
Ripple has just added another $25 million to the Fairshake political action committee. This boosts its campaign funds for the upcoming election cycle to a total of $103 million.
This amount includes $30 million carried over from the 2024 election cycle. With this latest contribution, Fairshake is in a strong position to repeat its success from last year, where many pro-crypto candidates it supported won their races.
Fairshake has become one of the most powerful political action committees out there. With backing from Ripple, Coinbase, and venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, it has raised $73 million in new commitments. That’s a significant boost, especially as it gears up for the 2026 election.
Currently, Fairshake is waiting on the results of one congressional election scheduled for November 5. So far, it has backed at least 53 candidates who will be part of the next Congress. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse shared his thoughts on social media, calling Fairshake “the most successful multi-candidate, bipartisan super PAC in American history.” He emphasized that electing candidates who support growth and innovation in the crypto space is essential.
The $103 million available to Fairshake makes it a formidable force in shaping legislation for the congressional session starting in 2027. Ripple, Coinbase, and Andreessen Horowitz have contributed the majority of the funds Fairshake is using to influence congressional races. Their goal is clear: they want pro-digital asset candidates to advance legislation when Congress reconvenes in January.
The crypto industry has been waiting for clarity from the U.S. government regarding regulations. This ongoing uncertainty has left many business opportunities on the table.
Details about how Fairshake operates remain private. However, Fairshake’s spokesperson, Josh Vlasto, has noted that the committee supports crypto advocates from both parties who are willing to work together on legislation.
Each of the three companies has participated in three rounds of funding for Fairshake, contributing roughly the same amount each time. With Ripple's recent involvement, its total contributions to Fairshake now stand at about $73 million.
